A dream ... almost true !!!
WOW !!!
That was a good Dream dude. Was what I thought when I finalized my ... actually our (Me 'n' my girl) plan to Migrate to the Worlds best place (in many terms) ... yeah to New Zealand .. NZ.
My girl ... my wife ... my best friend ... Divya was supposed to Study ... at WINTEC,Hamilton .. she was supposed to do her "Graduate Diploma in IT" (GraDip IT).
We started off planning at Maredpally,Hyderabad... at the best consultant for NZ ... ArrayNZ ... funny enough the consultants are situated in Wellington Road... hey and that's in Hyderabad ... not the Wellington of NZ.
Well We first had to get our Passports changed ...for minor fixes of a major happening ... our Marriage ... we had to get our respective Spouse Names included in the passports ... lucky enough we got that work done pretty soon ... in one day. We received our new passports within 12 days (phew .. that was fast).
Then my girl had to sit for the IELTS exam ... and guess what, we didn't have her passport (was at the passport office) to book an exam date. But we got all the info collected for the Examination. We approached "British Council" and "IDP" and decided to book the exam date for July 26 ... through British Council. And finally booked it when we got our passports (Thanks to the POSTMAN we were informed personally).
Now the Preparation for the IELTS exam started ... Divya got confused should she take classes or not ... and with all the confidence I had in her I suggested not to take classes. And she struggled hard for three weeks with a good amount of Hard work (which included sleeping !). And the D-day had come. The exam went pretty good ... according to her .... and yeah she thought her Interviewer was looking like her English teacher at her school.
We were waiting for the results ... which were to be announced on August 8.... one day before her birthday... haha she's a LEO ... careful!!! In the meanwhile we were so excited we almost thought about every possible thing we got to buy(What,when,why,how) ... however our fingers were crossed ... the Institute demanded a band score of "6" ... and yeah we received the initial Offer Letter from WINTEC.
Man I was on a high ... I browsed through every site I found NZ on ... shopping,Job search,travels,rentals,cars,bikes,food,groceries,city council, I had almost seen Hamilton through internet by then.
OOPS .. August 8 is here ... website was open ... but results not uploaded yet ... i was waiting eagerly ... didn't even wanted to take bath ... her mobile was with me ... we were expecting the result to come through by SMS also ... it was 11:00 am and no result YET ... I was tensed ... excited .. nervous ... everything. Now I had to take my bath .. and the first thing I do after coming out of my shower .. refresh the browser and ... wait ... I see the Result ... a BAND "7" .... man that's goooooooooooooood.
Congratulations "Butli 7" !!! -- Love ya baby.
We were happy ... who wouldn't be ??? And you know what I was down with fever from 2 days ... and now I am Jumping with joy.
.... The Birthday was the BEST ....
Everytings well ... I hit the Road to the Office on the Next working Day ... an guess what .. I am in the GM's Office asking him to relieve me ... and here I get "BANG BANG" ... dude ... you have singed a Contract ... A bond ... pay 3 ... take 3 (Certificates) ... and this is the BIG Crash I had .... and as they say the rest is HISTORY ...
